Pilates has been a major force and passion in her life for many years and has enabled her to become healthy and strong through the principles of mind body conditioning.   An experienced instructor with years of work in the studio, April has utilized the practice of Pilates to help many of her clients overcome the grip of chronic pain. The remarkable and extraordinary healing benefits of Joseph Pilates’ Method are timeless and highly effective. It is her belief that whether you are young or old, strong or infirm, she can develop a Pilates based movement and wellness program that is right for you. Lifetree strives to provide a safe, clean, soothing and therapeutic environment for clients who may be suffering from pain and discomfort due to postural problems or physical limitations. Using the Pilates Method, many clients have found relief from chronic pain and reduced their stress levels.  Long term intensive work with the aging body has provided valuable insight through Pilates to empower many clients to gain strength and mobility.

Her vast experience in the performing arts field enables her to promote self-discipline and motivation for self-empowerment and positive body awareness. April's deep knowledge and love of music, as well as alternative healing modalities, using breath and energy work are powerful tools in her training method and teaching style.  April continues to educate herself through workshops and seminars with leading Pilates professionals.
